Jacqueline (“Jackie”) Schneider obtained her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1996. She is Florida Bar Board Certified in Elder Law. Her practice areas include estate planning, probate, guardianship and long-term care Medicaid planning.
Jackie is an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University School of Law, where she teaches an Elder Law Externship and a Wills and Trusts class. She is past Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of The Florida Bar’s Elder Law Section, and has served on the Guardianship Committees for that section and the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. Jackie is also a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Prior to joining Chepenik Trushin LLP, Jackie was a sole practitioner who focused her practice on estate planning, probate, guardianship and long-term care Medicaid planning. Jackie also has extensive experience as a Judicial Staff Attorney serving in the court’s Probate Division.
For work/life balance, and for balance in general, Jackie regularly practices yoga and is certified as a yoga instructor.
